Double negative: It is never not beneficial to have someone peer edit your writing and give you feedback and suggestions.
Not all of us are lucky enough to be able to take workshop-format creative writing courses, so Yeah Write has a Workshoppers List of other Tumblr users who are willing to read over your work.
Are you willing to be a workshopper? Send Yeah Write a submission that includes:
- A link to your Tumblr ask box
- Your “credentials” (Write for your school newspaper? English Major? Just a kid who likes to read and write? That’s fine!)
- Specific areas you’re good at/like to workshop (Character development, dialogue, plot arc, narrative structure and chronology, continuity, spelling and grammar, fact checking, etc.)
Note: A few weeks ago, “Workshoppers” replaced Critiquers and I started the new list from scratch. So if you’re a former critiquer who wants to get your name back in the game, send a new submission!

I’d join but I think I’m too scatterbrained, shy and introverted to be of much help. However, I would encourage others to do it.
